The purpose of the Columbine Dachshund Club is to encourage the education on the care of the Dachshund. We
strive to demonstrate the pre-eminent qualities of the breed as worker, protector, companion and household pet. We currently
conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows, sweepstakes, junior showmanship, and earthdog trials under the rules of the
American Kennel Club.
The Columbine Dachshund Club was established in 1961 and has been serving
Dachshund owners of Colorado through a variety of events. Please use the links on the left to locate additional information
on our club, events, links to other dachshund-related organizations and more.
Thank you for visiting!

Dachshunds come in three coat
varieties, wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired (pictured left-to-right). They are also bred in two sizes, standard and miniature.
